During your initial roofing inspection, you will meet with one of our specialists as we complete an honest assessment of your roof. During this inspection, we will begin with a visual inspection of your entire roofing system and is followed by the thermal infrared if needed. If there are signs of heavy damage we may also inspect the interior of the building for leaks, HVAC system, piping and foundation of the roof.
After our initial inspection, we will create a detailed report for your roof. This report will list any pre-existing conditions, the material type, the age of the roof, outline all areas of damage, and our infrared testing will show locations of energy loss, hot spots, and moisture intrusions. We will then outline the steps Kapella Roofing needs to take to repair or replace your roof.
After reviewing the roofing report either on your own or with a Kapella Roofing Expert, we will create a proposal for the agreed upon work. At this time, we will also select the product type, such as TPO, EPDM, or PVC, and color of your new roof. Our goal is to ensure that the entire scope of your roofing project is covered in the proposal so that the project phase can begin.
COMMENCEMENT OF WORK
Once the scope of work has been determined and proposals have been signed, we will review the timeline of your roofing project with your property managers so that you know exactly what is happening and when so there are no surprises along the way.
CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION
At the end of your project, your new roof will undergo a two-tiered inspection and you will receive a warranty certificate for the roofing labor. We stand by our work and will include an industry leading 5 year labor warranty on all of our projects as well as a full manufacturer warranty.
